Description
Once past the 13C fortified gate, the picturesque rue du Majou, at one time the main axis of the village, is lined with medieval houses whose ground floors open onto large pointed arches. At no 17, the Maison du Sénéchal (14C-15C) houses the architecture and heritage interpretation centre, which illustrates the daily life of the people who lived in Gourdon over the ages.
