Description

The collections of the Museo de Bellas Artes feature mainly religious works from the 15C-20C, in particular by Alonso Cano and Pedro de Mena. Notice the Still Life with a Cardoon by Juan Sánchez Cotán: its sober mastery can only be rivalled by Zurbarán's. The 19C and 20C rooms present works by Rodríguez Acosta, Muñoz Degrain, López Mezquita and Manuel Ángeles Ortiz.
