Useful information

Description

Built in the early 1300s, St Wulfram's Church has one of the tallest spires (approx. 80m) ever built on a parish church in Britain. It is decorated with sculpted heads, mostly medieval in origin, representing the images of inhabitants of the time, as well as grotesques and animals. It also boasts a rare example of a chained library.
