Useful information

Description

The Teatro Juárez, the hub of the town's cultural life, was inaugurated in 1903 by Porfirio Díaz and is a skilful blend of neoclassical, colonial and Moorish styles. The façade of Doric columns is decorated with statues, the lobby is an illustration of Art nouveau, and the interior décor is luxuriant to say the least. From the steps of the theatre you can watch one of the numerous street shows that take place here.
