Useful information

Description

Built between the late 14C and early 16C in the sober Brabant Gothic style, this church has a superb 80m-high lantern tower, made of wood cased in lead. Admire the cedar star vault inside, as well as the large organ designed by Christian Müller in 1738. Decorated with sculptures by Jan van Logteren, it has long been considered one of the best instruments in the world. Haendel and Mozart themselves are said to have made the journey to play this organ.
