Useful information

Description

It's interesting to note that tea, which comes from China, was originally used as a medicinal plant. Discovered by Emperor Shennong 5 000 years ago, tea is grown in the Hangzhou region, particularly on the slopes of the Lion's Peak and the Dragon Spring, after which the famous local tea is named (longjing in Chinese). This museum is also an inexhaustible source of information on the history of tea.
