Drawing nearly 1.5 million visitors each year. A visit will surely stir your patriotic blood. Here on December 7, 1941, more than 2,300 servicemen were killed in a surprise early-morning Japanese air attack on the US naval fleet anchored in the bay. Eighteen ships, including six battleships and three destroyers, sank in America's greatest military disaster. The harbor is still surrounded by active military bases, but it also includes three must-see visitor sites.
