Description

Designed by its first minister in 1837, this church constructed of coral blocks cut and carried from a reef off Honolulu Harbor. The setting for 19C royal coronations, weddings and funerals is revered by isle residents. Visitors are welcome at the Sunday sermon, still given partly in the Hawaiian language.
