Useful information

Description

This village stands in the heart of the country's most stunning national park, Hortobágy Park (82 000ha). Containing the largest steppes of central Europe, it is a Unesco World Heritage Site. The vision of this immense, seemingly endless plain will be the highlight of any journey. A horse ride across the plain will enable you to admire the work of sheepdogs as they herd the sheep with long twisted horns, and to catch sight of some of the 350 species of birds that live here. The unspoilt wilderness of the spot is quite unique.
