Founded in 1958 by Knud W. Jensen, this museum makes full use of the site's natural beauty, a mature landscaped park with the huge seascape of the Øresund in the background, which enhances monumental sculptures by Calder, Arp, Ernst, Dubuffet, Moore and Giacometti. Glass is widely used to link the buildings with their natural landscape. Temporary exhibitions are dedicated to contemporary artists.
