Description
The Cave of Perama, formed under Goritsa Hill 1.4 million years ago, was discovered during the Second World War. An 850m-long footpath and 163-step stairway lead down into a strange forest of multi-coloured limestone concretions. The lighting lends mystery to this underground walk that takes in the surprising formations of stalactites and stalagmites.
