Description
The Linthouse Engine Shop, a huge and splendid example of 19C industrial architecture was dismantled at its site in Glasgow and rebuilt here. A retractable footbridge, the Bridge of Scottish Invention, leads to a futuristic dome, where The Big Idea has taken up residence. This exhibition with interactive pieces is dedicated to a thousand years of inventions and a century of Nobel Prizes.
