Founded in 1165 and dissolved in 1782, the Carthusian Monastery at Zice is tucked away in the heart of a beautiful forest and the atmosphere remains conducive to reflection. The renovated buildings and majestic ruins continue to evoke the lives of the lay brothers, who were adept in preserving plant specimens. Medicinal herb shop and small museum.
