Description
To the south of the modern town of Jeonju, Hanok Village features some eight hundred traditional homes, most of which are now guesthouses. The others have been turned into shops, restaurants, cafés and museums. A few are still inhabited. Gradually restored, sometimes a little too immaculately, the village paints a picture of architectural unity with its sea of rooftops and narrow alleyways.
