Built in the Gothic Revival style, this library-turned-museum (Johnstown Flood Museum) presents an outstanding collection over three floors and a film on the Johnstown Flood (1889). Called the worst natural disaster of the 19C, the flood was caused when an 11m wall of water thundered down this valley at speeds of over 65kmph from a burst dam on Lake Conemaugh.
