Description

This 18C cottage, with a typical interior for its time, is a reminder of this activity as practised at home, which was so important at the end of the 19C. In all the house, there are examples of local weaving, including tartan making. The manual weaving machines still work and are used for demonstrations. The charming cottage garden has a collection of aromatic herbs and locally used objects.
