Useful information

Description

St Mary's Cathedral (1842-1855) was designed by the famous English architect, Pugin, who was particularly keen on English Gothic Revival. Greatly remodelled and restored in the 1970s, the cathedral is today extremely minimalist, both inside and out and the bare stone walls are quite dramatic when the morning sun lights up the stained-glass windows.
