Opening hours

different opening times for each site of the castle

Between the early fortress (1167) and Christianborg (completed in 1928), five successive castles were built on the same site. The current palace never served as a royal residence and now houses the Parliament, Supreme Court and the Prime Minister's Office. Don't miss a tour of the royal reception rooms, royal kitchens, ruins, royal stables, the palatine chapel and the Theatre Museum. Finish with the castle tower for an unusual view of the Danish capital.
