Clinging to the rock face, it proudly dominates the city. This 14C military defence, used as such until the Second World War, is now a delight for those who love views. Indeed, the panoramic view over this unique system of fortifications and the bay is breathtaking. To feast your eyes on it, all you have to do is climb the 1 350 steps of La Scala Santa! You can take a break halfway up at the church, Crkva Gospa od Ždravlja (Our Lady of Health).
