Description

The Neanderthal Museum of Krapina charts the discovery of Krapina man, the history of evolution, excavation methods and theories related to the origin of our planet. A path leads to the Palaeolithic site of Husnjaka, a rocky overhang, where in 1898 Professor Kramberger discovered the fossils of the site's first inhabitants dating from the Middle Palaeolithic (200 000 to 35 000 BCE).
