Description

The Beskids form two territories of medium-altitude mountains. The first, the Beskid Sądecki, is popular with tourists for its spa resorts, colourful architecture and hilly landscape. To the east lies the Beskid Niski, whose wooden religious buildings are its main appeal, and which extends from Nowy Sącz à Krosno in the north, heading south to the border with Slovakia. Krynica is the most interesting base-camp for visitors.
