Description

At the eastern end of Market Street, Zhengyi Lu, a broad pedestrian avenue, crosses the city centre's huge shopping precinct. Beyond Nanping Street, blind masseurs in blue gowns offer their services to passers-by: vigorous treatment guaranteed! Zhengyi Street leads to Jinbi Square to the south, where two massive porticoes stand: the Golden Horse Arch and Green Rooster Arch commemorating the arrival of Ming's troops in Kunming.
