The Michelin Guide's review
Two windmills stand next to each other on this site, one a stone windmill (1836) and the other a water mill (1825) by the Rouge River. The mills, built by Thomas and Alexis Tremblay respectively, operated until 1948. Restored, they provide a rare opportunity to compare the different mechanisms. An interpretation centre in the former miller's house charts their history; you can also buy wheat flour ground by millstones.
