Born in La Gacilly, Yves Rocher (1930-2009) left his stamp on the village. The botanical garden boasts over 1,500 plant species, classified according to their use: cosmetics, perfumes, condiments, industry, herbal teas and so on. The estate also displays a unique collection of artemisia and salvia.
