Useful information

Description

Protestantism is an important part of the history of La Rochelle, and the town was subjected to the terrible sieges of 1573 and 1627 due to support for it among the local population. The museum traces the history of Protestantism in the La Rochelle region, with documents (including the Confession of faith of La Rochelle and a 1606 Bible) as well as a collapsible table and chair illustrating the time in the Wilderness.
