Description

Fort Balaguier was wrenched back from the English in 1793 by none other than a young Corsican commander, Bonaparte. It now houses a naval museum and the 17C chapel displays objects and documents related to penal settlements. Fine views of St-Mandrier, Toulon and the harbour from the battlements.
