Useful information

Description

Built in 1731 by the Portuguese Grand Master Manoel de Vilhena, the Manoel Theatre is one of the oldest theatres in Europe. With its gilded wooden boxes on three floors and painted ceiling, it's a beautiful venue. During the day, you enter the theatre via the small adjoining museum, which offers an insight into the history and current trends of Maltese theatre.
