Description
The beach backs up to a strand of resort hotels, linked by a sidewalk, as well as Whalers Village, home to waterfront restaurants like the Hula Grill (see Must Eat). Three miles long, Kaanapali is great for walking, and the tumbling surf makes it good for bodysurfing, too. It's a fun scene after dark, when you might luck into an empty lounge chair where you can get cozy and watch the stars.
