Description

The Maison de la Baie de Somme started with a taxidermist's collection of stuffed birds (300). The collection is housed in what was once a traditional farm laid out around a courtyard. There are also dioramas that show the region's birds in their natural habitat; halfway round, you come to a lake, where geese and wild ducks live, and from which you can take an educational tour around the wetlands. A great introduction to ornithology.
