The Château de l'Engarran is one of the elegant summer residences built in the 18C by aristocrats or the wealthy middle class from Montpellier. This Louis XV-style château is tucked away behind a superb iron entrance gate taken from the nearby Château de La Mosson. Adjacent to the estate's wine-tasting cellar a small wine museum exhibits the tools and machines that have been used in the château's vineyards and cellars since 1885.
