Useful information

Description

This 13C church was extended in the 15C and converted to a Protestant place of worship. It was here that the Nassau Friesians were buried from 1588 onwards. The great organ (1727) is a work by Christian Müller. As the copper orange tree above the Orange doorway (to the south of the church) shows, the family of the stathouder once enjoyed reserved access here.
