Description

This museum named after the famous doctor Herman Boerhaave traces five centuries of the development of medicine and the natural sciences. The many remarkable exhibits include the collection of Christiaan Huygens (1629-95, an internationally renowned physician and astronomer), as well as many astronomical and surgical instruments, and microscopes which once belonged to Van Leeuwenhoek.
