At the tip of the small peninsula that stands like a sentry above Lake Como, the Villa del Balbianello stands among cypress and cedar trees, in an enchanting setting. In this 18C residence, you can admire the Asian, African and Oceanian art collected by Guido Monzino, a wealthy entrepreneur (1928-1988) who was passionate about exploring and travel. Some scenes from Star Wars and Casino Royale were filmed in the villa. Magnificent gardens.
