Useful information

Description

The Museo de Oro del Perú is a genuine treasure trove of pre-Columbian Peru: testimonies to the prehistoric past, sumptuous collections of pre-Incan ceramics and jewellery, collections of Incan keros and quipus (also called talking knots to count and record figures) and, of course, mummies. A profusion of Paracas and Nazca fabrics fills an entire floor. The ground-floor is home to a stunning weapons collection from many countries and periods.
