Useful information

Description

Situated on the Campo Grande, this house contains drawings, caricatures and, in particular, ceramics by Rafael Bordalo Pinheiro (1846-1905). He was a prolific artist and, with his brother, played an active part in Lisbon artistic life in the late 19C. He was, perhaps most notably, responsible for the success of the Caldas da Rainha ceramics factory, where he created Art Nouveau azulejos.
