Description

German soldiers who fell in Belgium during the Second World War have their final resting place here in this cemetery, alongside a few others who perished in eastern Germany and the First World War. Almost 20 000 crosses (each representing two graves) stand in rows on a carpet of heather dotted with pines and birches.
