Victoria Street is lined with buildings made of glass, steel, concrete and stone. It was laid out in 1862 to link Parliament to the famous Victoria Station (built from 1870). Other sights of interest include New Scotland Yard (1967) and Little Ben, a scaled-down model of Big Ben.
