Description

This bright and attractive museum traces the history of the British Army from the creation of the Redcoats to the role played by the army in conflicts throughout the world over the past fifty years. Exhibits include life-size reconstructions, weapons, soundtracks and videos, as well as a huge model with 70 000 small figures depicting the Battle of Waterloo. Also on display is the skeleton of Marengo, Napoleon's favourite horse, plus a reconstruction of a typical trench.
