Useful information

Description

The painter William Hogarth was 52 years old and quite famous when he bought this two-storey brick-built house, which would become his summer residence. On display inside are several of his conversation pieces: caricatures as incisive as they are moral, which made his name, such as his Election series, London street scenes and A Harlot's Progress.
