Description

Isamu Noguchi, American sculptor of Japanese extraction (1904-1988) is famous for his gardens, parks, playgrounds, objects (particularly his famous Akari lamps made out of paper and bamboo) and for his theater sets. The Noguchi Museum, founded in 1985, showcases work by the artist, dotted around a delightful Japanese garden. Temporary photography and design exhibitions.
