Useful information

Description

This museum charts the history of the site where Luzech now stands, from the Paleolithic to the Gallo-Roman period. The artefacts in the collection come from the excavations on the Plateau de l'Impernal and the cave dug into its sides. Some of the exhibits are exceptional, such as the scale model of the Trajan column, which was distributed in the Roman Empire in the early 2C AD, and the Gallo-Roman articulated spoon made of bronze and iron.
