Useful information

The round cairn, first of the two cairns, is made up of an entrance passage 6 m long (which has to be crawled through) and a chamber. The long cairn (60 m long and 10 m wide) resembles a long horn and covers two older cairns in the shape of a hive. The main room (same method of access as higher) is divided into three parts limited by large stone slabs. The chamber cairns in the region date back to the Neolithic age (4000-1800BC).
