Description

Founded in 1867 by Isabella II, the remarkable National Archaeological Museum of Madrid reopened in 2014, after six years of work. Among its treasures are the Protohistory section, the treasure of Guarrazar, the items showcased in the Egyptian and Nubian sections, Al-Andalus and the Christian kingdoms. Don't leave without seeing the Greek vases.
