Description

The village of Pollara boasts the most beautiful and spectacular beach on the island of Salina. At the end of Via Massimo Troisi, a stairway with 170 steps leads to this charming little cove enclosed by its own miniature shoreline of rocks (allow 20min walk) - the perfect place to watch the sunset. On your return to Malfa, turn onto the main road that leads inland to Valdichiesa to visit the Santuario della Madonna del Terzito, a place of pilgrimage.
