Description

Devoted to Maximilien Luce (1858-1941), the museum displays over 150 works (lithographs, etchings, drawings and paintings) by this representative of the neo-Impressionist movement, who was associated with Seurat and Pissarro. His work often reflected a social influence, as can be seen in his Fonderie à Charleroi (The Foundry in Charleroi) and La Coulée (The Casting). A section of the museum is dedicated to medieval Mantes.
