Useful information

Description

This 16-room residence was built in 1768 for Jeremiah Lee, one of the town's wealthiest merchants. Inside, the immense entrance hall boasts grandiose proportions. In several rooms, wallpaper hand-painted in the style of the 18C Italian artist Giovanni Pannini depicts classical ruins and fishing scenes. The building now houses a collection of furniture, silver, ceramics and textiles dating from the 18C and 19C.
