Useful information

Description

This grandiose museum, which belongs to Mexican magnate Carlos Slim is housed in a bold architectural complex, named after his deceased wife. It contains some 66 000 works, including art by great masters of the likes of Renoir, Corot, Vlaminck, Van Gogh, Cranach, Zurbarán, Dali and Rodin (this being the largest collection of his work outside France), without forgetting Mexican art. The rest of the collection is found in another museum of the same name on Plaza Loreto in San Ángel.
