The Palazzo dell'Arengario houses the Museo del Novecento (20C museum), whose most famous exhibit is Il Quarto Stato by Giuseppe Pellizza da Volpedo (1901). The museum is arranged chronologically, following the main artistic currents of the 20C up to the Arte Povera movement, and displaying works by artists such as De Chirico, Sironi, Morandi, Fontana, Manzoni and Kounellis. There is an excellent collection of Futurist works in the Sala delle Colonne and a magnificent view of the cathedral from the room dedicated to Lucio Fontana.
