Useful information

Description

Nestling at the bottom of Arda Valley, the village of Mogilitsa bears witness to the Ottoman occupation with the Agushevi Konatsi. Finished in 1840, this fortified castle, as rare as it is remarkable, whose façades are covered in friezes using organic motifs, is one of the last examples in Bulgaria of a residence built for the local Ottoman authorities.
