Description

The Misericord chapel was built by the Brotherhood of the Black Penitents from 1639 to 1646 in a Baroque style. Note the fine statue of a recumbent Christ, sculpted by local boy, Bosio. On Good Friday, the statue is solemnly paraded through the streets of the old town.
